Today, the 19th January 2021, I turned 55, I have a daughter, Hannah Rose, and it is a miracle that I am still on planet Earth. Five years ago, I heard a voice that said to me, “In three days, you will lay this body down, and in three days, I will raise it up.”

Three days later, I tried to take my life and was taken to hospital and put on life support as I was in a coma, and sure enough, the third afternoon, I just woke up. That was the first step in regaining some normalcy in my life. The following seven months were extremely difficult as my thoughts and feelings took a long time to balance out again. I have come a long way since then and have learned to follow the Torah and learned the Hebrew names for Yehovah, and He has helped me tremendously. I have the most darling daughter whom I love, and not only do I live for Yehovah, I also live for Hannah.

When I was seventeen, I went to see my pastor and said to him, “You’ve got to come into the church and pray for me that the Heavenly Father will let me meet the right man one day and that I will have a baby.” The pastor and I both went straight into the church and held hands as we sat next to each other as I said to our Heavenly Father, “If you give me a girl, I promise I will call her Hannah after Hannah who went into the temple and asked for a baby and Yehovah gave her Samuel.”

Twenty-three years later, when the time came to name my baby girl, I asked my mum what I should call her, and she said to me, “Go back and pray about it.” I prayed, and the Father reminded me that I promised Him I would call my little baby after Hannah in the Bible, so I did just that! Hannah is fifteen now, a wonderful girl, a sincere child slowly emerging into the person Yehovah has created her to be. I am the lucky one; she is not a problem to anyone.
