From New Age to New Birth – 30-Day Devotional

As a follow-up, I would like to share three powerful topics that frequently arise when I witness to individuals in the New Age movement. These address common stumbling blocks that prevent seekers from accepting Yeshua as the only way to God.

The New Age worldview often tries to discredit and distort the truth of Yeshua and the divine authority of the Bible. But the Scriptures are not just another spiritual book—they are the Creator’s manual, a reliable, Spirit-breathed revelation filled with answers to life’s deepest questions, revealing God’s love and grace for all humanity.

To help you in your conversations, I’ve created three companion teachings you can download as a PDF to print, share, or use in outreach discussions:

1. Why the Empty Tomb Changes Everything
Unpacking the historical evidence and spiritual implications of Yeshua’s resurrection.

2. Breaking the Spell
Exposing the lies that keep many New Agers from seeing the real Yeshua.

3. How Can I Say Yeshua Is God If There Is Only One God?
A clear explanation from Scripture showing how worshiping Yeshua is not a contradiction of God’s oneness, but the fulfillment of it.

Many families today are touched by the New Age movement – we all know someone who’s been drawn into it in search of meaning or healing. My own wife, Hayley, was once deeply involved until Yeshua opened her eyes and transformed her life. I wanted to share a few powerful testimonies from others who were also on a path of spiritual seeking, chasing enlightenment through New Age practices. Today, they testify that true peace – shalom – is not just an inner feeling, but a living Person. His name is Yeshua, and He promises never to leave you.

Liat: Liat was raised in a Jewish home and became involved in Eastern mysticism and New Age practices later in life. She pursued spiritual exploration until, unexpectedly, her life took a turn when she was introduced to Yeshua. Her full journey—from mysticism to Messiah—is captured in her testimony “I went to bed hating Jesus and woke up loving Him!” from One For Israel ministry

Greg shifted from exploring New Age ideologies to embracing Biblical faith, ultimately dedicating his life to sharing Yeshua with Israel, forming Beth Yeshua International.

Raised in a Orthodox home in the Bronx Greg Hershberg never connected deeply with the synagogue as a young man. Shortly after college he started to climb the ladder of success living the high life in New York City. But it was in Israel on his honeymoon vacation that he had a vision of the Messiah on Mount Tabor, the mount of Transfiguration.
